About Us

The HOFFA Foundation was established in 2019, just a few months after Jimmy Zumbrun lost his battle with addiction. Jimmy was a die-hard Baltimore Ravens fan, always surrounded by family and friends at the games, bringing joy to every tailgate. When we created The HOFFA Foundation, we knew the name had to reflect his spirit. Jimmy had a nickname for everyone, and his was "HOFFA." It didn’t take us long to turn that into our mission: Healing. Opportunity. Free From Addiction.

Based in Carroll County, Maryland, our nonprofit is dedicated to saving lives and supporting those struggling with addiction. Over the last five years, we’ve made a difference by providing a recovery residence and FREE transportation for those seeking immediate treatment throughout Maryland. At The HOFFA Foundation, we believe that recovery is about progression, not perfection, and we are committed to offering resources and hope to those in need.

Join us in the fight for hope and recovery—because together, we can make a difference.
